About Me – The mind behind the Chicken Shed Studio
Chicken Shed Studio is my small creative workshop in the Midlands, where bright characters, gentle stories, and cheerful artwork come to life. What started as a simple idea has grown into a lively world filled with ducks in costumes, a determined little mouse named Felicity, and a growing cast of friendly faces who appear across my cards, prints, and seasonal designs. I create every piece, from the first sketch to the final print, and each character has its own charm, personality, and place in the wider Duckiverse.
The Duckiverse greeting cards are the heart of the studio and the first collection you will see here. These cards feature a flock of colourful duck characters dressed for adventures, celebrations, and everyday moments. They are designed to be fun, friendly, and easy to enjoy, with a clean cartoon style and warm colours that make them ideal for gifting, collecting, or simply brightening someone’s day. Each duck has its own story, and together they create a cheerful world that continues to grow with every new design.
Following the ducks, you will find Felicity Mouse, a gentle and curious character who brings a softer, storybook feel to the studio. Felicity appears in her own range of cards and illustrations, often exploring fairgrounds, cosy scenes, and whimsical settings. Her designs are created with the same care and attention, offering a warm and comforting style that appeals to children, families, and anyone who enjoys friendly character art.
